Race Report...

Qualifying

.I was really enjoying the wet conditions at Greece. The team had set the bike up really well and I had really good feeling until the circuit started to get mucky from the dirt being carried around. Eerybody else actually started to get quicker in these conditions but my time in the pure rain stood strong enough to keep me on top of the time sheets.
Finished: 1st

Superpole
Superpole was held in Greasy conditions and I was just way too cautious. It wasn't a bad lap. It was just steady.
Finished: 3rd

Race 1

I was 3rd at the beginning of race 1 and then got bumped back down the order as I struggled to find my Rhythm. Soon I was back on it though and climbed back to 3rd behind Pignotti and Goetz, the latter of which was doing a great blocking job. Soon I found a way through though to take the lead of the race and Delepine followed me into 2nd position. I then missed a gear and he came through. For the rest of the race I was lining him up ready for the final lap but as we got onto it, Pignotti came through and I had to save my planned manouver for him. It worked and I came home 2nd. I was devastated though as losing to Delepine meant there was no way of winning the title

Race 2

I got a better start for race 2 and was 2nd behind Goetz. He was holding me up but was so hard to pass. I made a lunge but ran wide and he and Winstanley came through. It was then a very frustrating race for me. Everytime I tried to move up the pack I either made a mistake or someone passed me instead. I eventually finished down in 5th which was the worst non-incidental result of the year! I took 4th overall at the GP but was actually only 3 points off winning it. I also took 3rd overall in the Championship which was pretty cool though!
