Qualifying

Just before the session began we had a problem with the clutch. They quickly changed it for a new one and sent me out on track. As I rode through the paddock it felt fine but on entering the track and opening the throttle more, all it did was rev through. I came back in and had to change to the spare bike. We had already lost about 10 minutes of the session but we still had 30 minutes left. Within a few laps I had managed to top the time sheets. With the session then nearing to a close we put in a new rear tryre to try to improve on the time but I never got a clear lap and ended the session just on the front row.

Superpole
Morning warm-up handn't gone particularly well and I was struggling with lack of set up having lost most of FP2 due to a brake failure and having a fraught qualifying due to the clutch problems. My Superpole lap was pretty rubbish as I made a couple of mistakes and I ended up where I started.

Race 1

I got a good start to the first race but Pignotti cut across me into the tight hairpin for turn 1. He stopped dead mid corner and it felt like the entire field came through. I rounded the first lap in 13th position and had lost so much ground simply by everyone having to play follow the leader on the tight circuit. about 5 laps into the race the bike developed a slight miss coming out of the turns and it got progressively worse as the race went on. I tried to get throught the field but I really wasn't riding well and the tight circuit made it very difficult to pass and to make up time.

Race 2

I was much harder on the first turn of the 2nd race and barged my way through. As I did I tucked the front but managed to save it. This allowed 2 riders through. I was happy to be in 3rd at the start and just wanted a smooth first few laps to get myself settled into the race but I soon made a mistake and dropped to 6th. I was keen to make the lost time back up quickly but I fell on the dusty off-road section. From then on it was another frustrating race for me.
