Last night I attended the launch of the Irish Supermoto World Championship round to be held at the Bishopscourt circuit near Downpatrick on the 9th and 10th September. The circuit layout is, as expected, World class with a combination of sections ranging from flat out to tight and technical as well as a spectacular new off-road section.

Injury Update;

Just 2 weeks on from my accident and I've had the plaster off. The new X-Ray showed the bone was still broken but with the World Championship race at Bishopscourt under 2 weeks away, the Doc kindly put me in an wrist brace in preparation for the upcoming event.

Being unable to race with my broken wrist I've had to find other ways to make a living. Perhaps I've got in with the wrong crowd but I've been making a killing...

With my wrist still in plaster I was unable to race in the French International at Alpe D'Huez. Regardless, my family and I still went along for a short holiday and to cheer on the Brits who all did a great job, espescially the lads in the Red Bull cup (David Jackson, Chris Hodgson and Richard Blakeman). With no race action for me I spent most of the time on the luge and you can take an on board lap just...

The next round of the World Supermoto Championship held in Northern Ireland has undergone a venue change. The race will now be held at Bishopscourt near Downpatrick NOT at Stormont Castle. Check out the World Championship website for more info and get yourselves there to support the Brits.
